QR Studio Terms of Service
Last updated: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of QR Studio, and act as the end user licence agreement for the app. By using the app or buying QR Studio Pro, you agree to these terms.
Service
QR Studio provides tools to design QR codes — shapes, colours, gradients, frames, captions, illustrated scenes, and your own logo in the middle — to check that a design still scans, to keep your codes and drafts, to synchronize them through iCloud, and to read QR codes with the camera or from a saved image. The app is a design and utility tool and does not provide payment processing, link shortening, or hosting services.
QR Studio Pro
QR Studio Pro is offered as monthly and yearly SKUs.
Both are auto-renewable subscriptions billed through your Apple Account unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial on the yearly SKU; if a trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Prices, trials, taxes, and availability may vary by region and are shown by the App Store before purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases reconnects eligible purchases for the current Apple Account.
Your Content
You are responsible for what you encode into a code — links, network credentials, contact details, locations, payment links, logos, and any other content you add. Do not use the app to store, encode, or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
Codes And Scanning
Every code the app creates is static: the content is carried inside the code itself, and the app does not shorten, redirect, proxy, or host your links. A code keeps working independently of this app, and the developer cannot revoke, edit, or track a code once it has been shared.
When you scan a code, the app shows you its exact contents and does not open anything on its own. Deciding whether to open a scanned link or act on scanned content is yours to make. The developer does not control and cannot vouch for the safety, accuracy, or legality of content encoded by third parties.
Scannability Checks
The app's contrast and scannability check is a design aid, not a guarantee. Real-world scanning also depends on print quality, material, size, lighting, distance, and the scanning device. Test a code on real devices, and in its final printed size and material, before producing it at scale.
Acceptable Use
Do not use the app to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful codes, to impersonate others, to distribute malware or phishing links, to infringe the rights of others, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the app.
Availability
QR Studio is provided as available. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app owner is not liable for codes that fail to scan in a particular setting, for content reached through a scanned code, for data loss, for indirect damages, or for decisions made from the app's features.
Apple Terms
If you purchased through the App Store, Apple's standard purchase, refund, and subscription rules apply. Apple may provide purchase management, cancellation, and refund flows through your Apple Account. This agreement is between you and the app owner, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. The latest version will be available from the app and from the public Terms of Service URL used for distribution.
